Brett Abish is the founder of RatesNegotiator — and he built it from inside the very industry that sets the rates most business owners never think to question. RatesNegotiator is an independent service that lowers merchants' credit card processing costs without changing their processor, hardware, or POS system.
Brett has spent more than five years in the payments industry, on nearly every side of the business. At merchant-services firm TouchSuite, he rose from risk analyst to Director of Global Operations, managing risk and PCI DSS compliance along the way. Today he serves as Director of Sales & Strategic Initiatives at payments ISO Excel Payments — the side of the industry that prices, packages, and sells processing. That means he knows firsthand how rates are built, where the margin hides, and what a processor will actually renegotiate.
Increasingly, Brett's edge is technical. He's become an expert in applying AI and custom system-building to payment operations — from the AI-powered statement-analysis engine behind RatesNegotiator to white-label platforms that help ISOs and agents serve their own clients. Few people pair this much payments operating experience with the ability to turn it into working software for businesses of any size.
